SHADOWS
During my time at the University of Potsdam, I have been part of the EU-financed SHADOWS project. It is a "specific targeted research project" (STREP) from the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) with partners from the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Israel, Scotland and Greece.
SHADOWS is an acronym, short for a Self-Healing Approach to Developing cOmplex softWare Systems. In other words, the project attempts to build an integrated set of tools and techniques that enable applications to become self-healing. It is a promising and difficult task but it has the potential to change the way we build programs and applications. Check some of the links below for more info about the project.
